There are few places on Earth where nature feels so vast and elemental, where the story of the planet is written not in monuments or cities but in ice, wind, and open sky, quite like Antarctica. Shaped by immense glaciers and the constant movement of the Southern Ocean, this is a continent where time seems to stretch beyond measure. While much of the world is defined by human history, Antarctica remains governed by the steady rhythms of climate, wildlife, and season — and we simply can’t stay away.
We invite you to register your interest We invite you to register your interest as we return to this extraordinary continent in December 2027 for the fourth time. This is more than a journey to the world’s coldest and driest landmass; it is an exclusive opportunity to experience one of the planet’s most captivating destinations while advancing your medical knowledge alongside fellow health professionals.
Imagine witnessing the untouched beauty of Antarctica from the comfort of a luxury expedition cruise — a voyage designed to balance discovery with relaxation. Few experiences compare to the sense of awe you’ll feel as towering icebergs drift past, whales surface in icy waters, and vast white landscapes stretch to the horizon.
The journey begins in Buenos Aires, where grand boulevards and faded European elegance meet a rhythm that is unmistakably Argentine. Cafés spill onto leafy streets, tango drifts through historic neighbourhoods, and the city moves with confident, creative energy. Beyond the capital lie the sweeping plains of the Pampas, heartland of the legendary Gaucho culture, where you’ll experience estancia life that echoes with skilled horsemanship, open-fire asados, and a deep connection to the land.
From here, south to Ushuaia, the world’s southernmost city, perched on the edge of the Tierra del Fuego archipelago. Framed by snow-capped peaks and the icy waters of the Beagle Channel, this remote outpost — aptly nicknamed the “End of the World” — carries a spirit of frontier adventure. It is here that your Antarctic expedition truly begins.
Once on board our luxury expedition vessel its time to cross the legendary Drake Passage, venturing toward the White Continent.
The first landing is Neko Harbour, renowned for its dramatic scenery, where jagged mountains and towering icebergs create an otherworldly landscape. Seabirds wheel overhead, seals rest along the shoreline, and whales are often sighted offshore. We then sail to Paradise Bay, where immense glaciers cascade into still, icy waters and humpback whales glide beneath the surface — an unforgettable encounter when conditions allow.
The following morning, arrive at Pleneau Island , a haven for gentoo penguins and seals. Here, surreal ice formations rise from the sea like luminous sculptures in shades of blue and white. At Port Charcot, you may walk snow-covered paths to the remains of an early explorer’s stone cabin, taking in sweeping views of icebergs scattered across the bay in an eerily beautiful tableau.
Next, visit Port Lockroy, a site rich in history — once a base for whaling ships, later a British outpost and research station, and today home to a small museum and the southernmost public post office in the world. Sending a postcard from here is a simple yet unforgettable way to connect with loved ones across the globe.
Just north of the Antarctic Peninsula lies Deception Island, a dramatic volcanic caldera formed some 10,000 years ago. Its horseshoe-shaped harbour and haunting remnants of the whaling era make it one of the most striking and atmospheric stops on our itinerary.
The final day in Antarctica brings us into the vast reaches of the Weddell Sea, an ethereal realm of immense tabular icebergs and sweeping ice shelves. Home to seals, penguins, and seabirds, this pristine wilderness offers a fittingly serene conclusion to our time on the continent before we sail back across the Drake Passage to Ushuaia.
