October casts South Korea in a fiery palette of crimson, gold and amber, a season when ancient palaces glow beneath autumn skies and mountainsides shimmer with changing leaves. This carefully planned small group journey invites you to experience the country in its most striking season, from the electric energy of Seoul to the serene heritage of Gyeongju, the coastal charm of  Busan, and the cultural heart of Jeonju.

Wander through the secret gardens of Changdeokgung Palace, sip ginseng tea in tucked-away teahouses, and trace the gentle curve of Cheonggyecheon Stream, a ribbon of calm through the bustling city.

Stand at the edge of history on a guided tour venturing to the DMZ (Demilitarised Zone), the 4-kilometre-wide buffer that has divided North and South Korea since the Korean War. Here, watchful observation posts, guarded checkpoints, and the quiet tension of this heavily monitored border tell a story of conflict and fragile peace.

From there, step back in time in Gyeongju, where UNESCO-listed temples, royal tombs, and centuries-old artefacts reveal the grandeur of the Silla dynasty, and local workshops invite you to try your hand at traditional pottery, calligraphy, and noodle making.

In Busan, the sea frames your exploration: colourful villages, seaside temples, and lively markets where the aroma of fresh seafood mingles with the salt breeze, while scenic train rides reveal dramatic coastlines and hidden skywalks. Finally, in Jeonju, discover the charm of hanok villages, savour bibimbap prepared by local artisans, and participate in traditional crafts and tea ceremonies that bring centuries-old customs vividly to life.
