Lucia was born in Romania, Europe. While working and raising a family she persevered to complete her education at Faculty of Economics and Business Administration for 5 years and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.
Lucia held senior finance positions working within a wide range of companies in Europe.
She moved to Australia in 2000 with her family and worked hard in the first few years to get experience in Australia and understand the tax and financial systems.
In 2004 she was employed jointly by Impact Organization and Yvonne Lazarow Travel as a Financial Controller and further developed her understanding of the intricacies of the finance side of the travel industry.
She began working with Amaco Travel in 2016.
Managing the finances, Lucia is responsible for the delivery of finance services such as accounting, treasury, reporting and budgeting, in accordance with legislative requirements and organizational policies and strategies.
Lucia has over 30 years’ experience in providing professional services across a broad range of finance.
Lucia is married and with one son and two beautiful grandchildren.
