From an intrepid journey through glacial valleys to a mouth-watering culinary dining adventure, The Hermitage Hotel is the perfect ‘base camp’ to discover Mount Cook National Park.
We’ve elected to stay in the hotel rooms – all offering majestic mountain views, and most with views of Mount Cook. All rooms feature a private bathroom including a shower, free toiletries and a hairdryer. Also included in each room is a satellite flat-screen TV, refrigerator and tea and coffee making facilities. In-room WiFi is available for an additional charge.
We’ve also pre-booked some of the world-class activities on offer such as Glacier Explorers and the Big Sky Stargazing. There is also the visual extravaganza of the Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre awaiting you.
The Snowline Lounge looks out over the spectacular Mount Cook, and is ideal for a cocktail by the log fire.
For a quick snack the Sir Edmund Hillary Cafe & Bar offers a range of on-the-go or eat in treats.
The Alpine Restaurant, which is open daily serves buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner while the Panorama Room is the hotel’s signature à la carte restaurant, with a focus on local ingredients.
